Our Story

Wrenn Jewelry creates custom pieces designed to last—jewelry that holds onto something personal, not just something pretty.

My name is Alissa Wrenn Smith—the name behind Wrenn Jewelry—and I’ve been creating for most of my life.

In my early teens, I started my jewelry journey making rhinestone belt buckles that I sold at horse shows. Years later, while pregnant with my first child, I found my way back to creating—this time through jewelry. What started as something small quickly grew into something much bigger.

In 2015, I began selling druzy jewelry, and the business took off. As it grew, so did my perspective. I realized I didn’t want to focus on trend-driven pieces—I wanted to build something more lasting.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up around them and later worked as a professional horse trainer, which gave me a strong appreciation for the connection people have with them. Over the years, I’ve also taken in my own rescue animals—cats, dogs, and horses—rehabilitating them and giving them permanent homes.

From 2017 to 2024, I ran my own cat rescue, Wrenn Rescue, where I helped find homes for hundreds of cats. That experience continues to shape the work I do today.

Life has a way of changing your perspective. After going through my own health challenges—Crohn’s disease and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma—I began to see things differently. Time felt more precious, and the moments we hold onto mattered more. That’s when everything shifted. I no longer wanted to create jewelry just for the sake of it—I wanted it to represent something real.

Because at the end of the day, life is too short for things that don’t carry meaning.

Today, my work centers around creating custom pieces inspired by the moments, people, and animals that matter most.

All of it—from where I started to the work I do today—comes back to creating something meaningful and giving back where I can.

We are turning memories into metal keepsakes.

Everything is made using high-quality materials like sterling silver and solid gold, with a focus on clean design and lasting quality. I use fiber laser technology to capture fine detail while keeping each piece intentional and well made.
